TYPICAL CLINICAL RESULTS

Prostate Solutions, Inc., is committed to extensive, high quality clinical testing of the Targis™ System. As a result, over the past five years, several well-controlled clinical studies have been conducted at over 20 hospitals and clinics in the United States and Europe. The studies have included over 700 men treated to a standard clinical protocol. The first two charts listed below show the results of questionnaires used by the clinical centers as part of a standard assessment of a patient's enlarged prostate symptoms. The last chart shows whether or not the patients involved in the study would recommend Targis™ treatment to a family member or friend.

AUA Symptom Score Chart
The AUA Symptom Score is a survey of seven questions designed to assess a patient's enlarged prostate symptoms. The symptoms can include nocturia, urgency, frequency, straining on urination, sensation of not emptying the bladder, intermittent urinary stream and weak urinary stream. On average, patients began with a score above 20 with a range of 8 to 33, and within 3 months after the Targis™ treatment, had improved to a score well below 10. The results are stable through four years. Click on the chart to see an enlarged view.
